Mahindra Racing is offering a lucky fan a chance to attend a Formula E race under the latest edition of its Driven by Design contest.

Fans are required to design Mahindra driver Jerome d’Ambrosio’s helmet for the upcoming Marrakesh ePrix using a handy downloadable kit available on its website.

All entries must be lodged on the same website by November 28, 2018, along with personal details like e-mail address and phone number.

After the deadline, d’Ambrosio will handpick his favourite design from all entries and sport the fan-designed helmet at Circuit el Hassan on January 12.

The lucky winner will be awarded a replica helmet and invited to one of the 2018/19 Formula E races as a guest of Mahindra.

The Indian manufacturer, which has been present in the all-electric series since its inception and has scored three race wins so far, will decide the race at its own discretion.

“Design is in everything that we do; from our car livery and race suits to our team kit and website – plus everything in between that goes on behind the scenes,” Mahindra Racing boss Dilbagh Gill said.

“Our passioneers have supported us since the beginning and our popular #DrivenbyDesign competition is our chance to recognise them and give future designers the opportunity to show off their creative flair, whilst hopefully boosting their careers.

“We’re now entering Driven by Design 4.0 and everyone at the Mahindra Racing family is looking forward to seeing the entries.”

Mahindra has hosted similar contests for fans in the past, allowing them to design the livery of its M3Electro and M4Electro cars as well as former race driver Nick Heidfeld’s race suit for his home race in Germany.

Update: The deadline for the contest has been extended until midnight, November 29.
